Primary duties included all Heavy Mortar Squad positions, Heavy Mortar Squad Leader, and Heavy Mortar Platoon Sergeant. Special duties included Noncommissioned Officer's School , Company Training Sergeant, public relations work with the U.S. Army Exhibit Unit, and Basic Training Platoon Sergeant and Instructor.
Served in the United States, West Germany, and South Vietnam. Attained the rank of Staff Sergeant (E6). Received letters of recommendation and an Honorable Discharge .
